Nottingham Rowing Club

Based near Trent Bridge, Nottingham Rowing Club is the largest rowing club in the East Midlands. We run several programs, including Seniors, Masters and Recreational, as well as hosting a British Rowing Performance Development Academy. We welcome applications from experienced rowers throughout the year.

Nottingham Rowing Club supports a full range of programmes, from beginners through to senior, including hosting a BR Performance Development Academy –  please click on the relevant link below for more information. There should be something for everyone, whether you’re an aspiring international, someone who wants to improve their rowing, or simply wants to potter about on the river!

For those wishing to take up the sport from scratch, the route into the club is via our adult Learn To Row courses, which we hold each summer.  Unfortunately,  the 2026 courses are full, so keep your eyes out for the announcement of L2R 2027.
